"Simply the Best" - Competition

"Simply the Best" Competition!

A challenge from:
Centigrade, Jackie Halhead and Held UK

The first 2 categories of this competition are ONLY for painters who are NOT teachers, and are in 2 experience levels to make it fair. All you have to do is photograph and email me the piece of work you have done to date that you think is "Simply the Best" piece you have painted so far!

There is no theme chosen for you, it is up to you!

The 2 categories are:

Category One
Painter under 4 years

Category Two
Painter over 4 years

Each painter may enter up to 4 pieces of work.

The Prize for each of these categories:

10 Jackie Halhead Studies
(Not previously available!)

One Drum of White Velvet
One Drum of Non-Ping
One Large Bottle of Waterbased Medium

2 Centigrade Tickets for either 2011 or 2012
2 Places at the Jackie Halhead Seminar before Centigrade Show either 2011 or 2012

Voting will be a "People's Choice" and will be one vote per email address, with 3 separate Judges who cannot cast a normal vote, who will be consulted in the event of a tie.

Photos must be received by St Valentine's Day ie 14th February 2011

Category Three
Teachers and Demonstrators

As Teachers will probably not be interested in studies by another artist, we have decided that the prize is as follows:

125GBP supplies Voucher

(ie $193 USD, $194 CAD, $258 NZD,
$192 AUD, 147 Euro, 15,995 JPY)

2 Centigrade Tickets for either 2011 or 2012

Again there is no given theme and each teacher can enter up to 4 pieces of work.

Good luck everyone!

The 3 Judges who cannot enter or vote unless there is a tie are:

Chris from Held of Harrogate UK
Jackie Halhead UK
James Skerrett from Royal Worcester UK

Please note that the studies in the prizes are NOT the studies that will go up for sale from Jackie!

These are different studies and there are 2 of each reserved by Jackie for the prizes!
