The Las Vegas Porcelain Art Guild, which currently has approximately 30 members, was formed in 1991. There are several excellent porcelain art teachers in the Las Vegas area, plus the Guild holds four or five seminars annually, with instructors from all over the U.S.

The mission of the Las Vegas Porcelain Art Guild is to further the recognition of porcelain painting as an art, to give the people of Las Vegas an opportunity to become more familiar with this art form, and to make known the opportunities that exist for new and young artists to enter this field and develop their talent and skills so this art form will continue.

The Las Vegas Porcelain Art Guild holds five business meetings annually, combined with “Paint-Ins” – In January, March, May, August and October. In addition, “Paint-Ins” are held six times a year - in February, April, June, July, September and November. The Guild also holds an annual Holiday Lunchon every December.

All meetings and “Paint-Ins” are held at the Las Vegas Senior Center, located in the Dula Center on the southwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Bonanza. They are held on the first Tuesday of each month and begin at 10 a.m. At each meeting and “Paint-In”, members display pieces they painted recently - on their own or in seminars. Paint-Ins provide a wonderful opportunity for us to share ideas, help each other, complete unfinished projects and visit with our fellow painters. The Senior Center has great hamburgers on Tuesdays for only $2 including chips and a soda. Or – you can bring your own lunch.
