The Piedmont Porcelain Artists Guild (WOCP affiliated club) meets the last Wednesday of the month for the following months: January, February, March, September and October. The meetings are held at 10 AM at the Alamance County Art Center, 213 S. Main St (NC 87), Graham, NC. The December meeting is a Christmas luncheon and gift exchange and is usually the 2nd Friday of the month and is held at either a restaurant or someone's home. We have a business meeting, a demonstration and paint along and a bag lunch social. Everyone is welcome. The dues are $30 each year. The club sponsors two seminars each year with a guest teacher. Students pay the daily fee and the club pays the transportation and miscellaneous expenses of the teacher.

For our January meeting, we had "Musical Painting" as our demo and paint along. Frances Braxton and Adele Holt each started a painting with something small. Each of us then added something during a musical span of 5 minutes. Frances painted a rose and Adele painted a house as the starting points. I have posted the beginning painting by Frances and Adele, the mid-point and the ending. After that Frances and Adele took the paintings and gave us pointers on how we could improve. It was a fun day and we recommend it for a club demo.
