I love the terriers... Really great job... but what I really think is cool is the way you did the background trees on the lion piece.. Keeping the whole background in warm colors and essentially doing a silhouette for the trees., VERY COOL !!! VERY DIFFERENT !!
LOVE IT! ;thumps;

Marvelous...all of them!
Your flower plate is beautiful too, but I can discern that your heart is with your animal portraits.
Your love of them shines through your paintings.

The first one (hide and seek) ..... love the masterful setting for that painting....the value contrasts of the white dogs against the darkness of the den space and the shading of their bodies and then the stone work just creates a perfect framework for the dogs.

Are you painting from your original photos? The compositions are just wonderful!

Yes, Becky, all my paintings are from personal photos and from friend's photos - with their permission. Thanks to all the people who have commented favorably...........it always helps to have an "attagirl" !

Your paintings show how much you know and love your animals. They are all wonderfully observed.
What a talent! Regards, Elizabeth
